Children's Faith Formation
The parish is the center of faith formation for Catholics. Every person in your pews, every Catholic in your parish community...child or adult...is on their own journey toward Christ and a life of discipleship.
Children's Faith Formation classes are held on Sundays twice a month at 12:00-12:45 pm. Please check the calendar for all Faith Formation dates.

Baptism Preparation Class
Parents who plan to have a baby or have a child under 7 years old baptized must attend a pre-baptism class. Baptism packets are available in the hall. Pre-baptism classes and parish registration is required of godparents as well. Please contact Tina.
Sacramental Preparation for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion

📌 Faith Formation and Sacramental Preparation for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion is open for children in grades 2–5. Participation in both programs is required to receive these sacraments. Registration forms are now available in OLOS Hall. Classes will begin the first week of September.
For questions, please contact Tina Laguna at tina@olos.org.
Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW)
Children in grades Pre-K-4 are invited to participate during the 1:00 pm Sunday Mass. Children hear the Readings from the Children’s Lectionary and participate in activities to help them better understand the Scriptures. The program is held once a month.
CLOW is not religious education; rather it is another way for our young parishioners to experience the Mass. Children do not need to register to attend. For religious education, we invite you to register in any of our Faith Formation Programs.
Vacation Bible Camp
Vacation Bible Camp is offered for children in kindergarten through grade 5 every summer!
Advent & Lenten Family Retreat
Family Retreats are held during Advent and Lenten, this has become a wonderful tradition for families to gather together and begin their journey. Whether you are a family of 2 parents and kids; grandparents and kids; single parent and kids; etc. this is a great opportunity for you to bring faith into your family life.
We will have crafts, snacks, music, and lots of fun – as we learn about and celebrate our wonderful traditions. All are welcome.
