LITURGICAL MINISTRIES

LITURGICAL LIFE COMMISSION:
                Bev Harke  333-6345
                This commission studies liturgical documents and practices, and advises the Pastor and the Parish Council on ways to enhance the liturgy.
                Their recommendations are in accordance with the Parish Plan.

USHERS:

                The responsibility of ushers includes greeting parishioners as they arrive at mass, collecting and counting sacrificial givings, and to provide
                assistance throughout the mass to parishioners.

EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS:
                            Peggy Buckingham  888-2974
                            As Lay Ministers of the Eucharist this service includes the distribution of bread and wine to all members of the parish community.
                            Archdiocesean Workshops are held yearly to provide education and liturgical guidelines to all Eucharistic Ministers in the Diocese.

LECTORS:
                            Tim Wente  888-2974
                            This ministry's direction is to spread the Word of God by reading scripture from the Bible on Sunday masses.

ALTAR SERVERS:
                            Chris Brookes - 888-2974
                            Young parishioners provide assistance to the presiding priest in an orderly fashion. This special ministry allows the youth of the parish to help
                            celebrate mass by serving God and one another.

CANTORS and MUSIC DIRECTOR:  
                            Chris Eisenberg - 888-2974
                            "He who sings, prays twice" This ministry adds fellowship and inspiration, by song, to others who celebrate the Eucharist. 

COFFEE HOUR:

SACRISTANS:
                            5pm and 11 am - Rosella Banovetz
                            8 am and 9:30 Dave Kelley
                            9:30 am + 11 am  Peggy Buckingham 
                           
                            The sacristans insure that the chalice, cups, linens, etc. are set up properly for Mass and that liturgical ministers are available.
